Explorers have the opportunity to earn rank and lead their fellow cadets.
Jailene Ramirez - Sergeant Jailene Ramirez began as an Explorer Cadet in October 2014 and rose up to the rank of Cadet Corporal. As Corporal of the post, Ramirez was tasked with handling the administrative paperwork duties within the post. Taking on a leadership role, Corporal Ramirez set an example for fellow cadets to follow and was promoted to Sergeant. She continues to set the example by displaying organization and integrity. Jailene is a full-time college student and former student of the Orange Ulster BOCES Law Enforcement Academy. After graduation, Sergeant Ramirez plans on advancing into a career in law enforcement.
Adam Buesing - Corporal Adam Buesing began as an Explorer Cadet in March 2016 and proved his dedication to the post through attendance and discipline. Adam has set the example for the other cadets through his preparedness and knowledge of law enforcement tactics. Buesing has recently been promoted to Corporal. As Corporal, he is tasked with the administrative paperwork duties within the post. Adam is a recent high school graduate and a youth leader within his church. Corporal Buesing has enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and will be attending recruit training to earn the title.
